A New Year Full of Possibilities

Posted by Sulynn Bledsoe on January 17, 2013 0 Comments

We hope everyone had a fabulous 2012.  We had hoped to build a patio on the east side of the building but needed to replace and enlarge our crush pad so we could handle the abundant harvest God provided.  We will use the extension as a patio during the first part of 2013. Our next expansion will be closing in the back area so we will have more barrel/tank storage room.

2011 Reflection and 2012 A New Year of Possibilities

2011 Reflection:

Thank you for making 2011 so wonderful!!  Even though the summer was a "little" hot, and the fruit harvested minimal, we are expecting our 2011 wines to be wonderful.  Fortunately, we were able to irrigate our vines, thanks to the irrigation system Daniel Elliott (my brother) installed in 2002.  We will see in the next few months how the stress affected the vines.

We had our first wedding, a very small family affair, at the vineyard in 2011.  Nicole Mims and Curtis Page tied the knot.  Keith George did a fantistic job of taking pictures for the Spectacular Wineries of Texas, and many other events.  Katie Blankenship was a great asset in the tasting room and we will miss her immensely in 2012.  Jeff George continues to be our right hand man in the vineyard and in the winery.  And, of course, each of you made 2011 a great year.  THANK YOU!

2012 A New Year of Possibilities

We are offering a 15% discount on all wine purchased in the winery during January.  Military friends will receive a 20% discount during January.
