Primarily
grown as a blending grape and used in the French
Bordeaux region red wines, it is also a great stand
alone varietal with lots of fruit flavor such as plums
and cherry. The vines were planted in 2002 so each
year will reflect the maturing of the vine. The
wine paired well with spicy food such as seafood gumbo &
Fettuccini Alfredo. |
